Privacy

What happens to the details you type into this website. Last updated 30/10/2026.

Plinth Physiotherapy is a concept project, not a real business. The booking and question forms on this site are demos: they check what you type and show a preview, but send nothing and store nothing. The rest of this page describes how a real clinic using this site would handle your details.

What we collect

Only what you type into the forms:

This website doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or its own cookies.

Health information

The note in the booking form may include health information, which the law treats as sensitive. Write only what helps us prepare, such as "left knee, since Saturday". Please don't put health details in the question form; we'll talk about them at your appointment. Your clinical notes are kept separately from this website, under the Australian Privacy Principles and Victoria's Health Records Act 2001.

Why we collect it

To book and run your appointment, send a reminder, claim rebates you ask us to claim, and reply to questions. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details for marketing.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this website, and like any web host it processes basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and block attacks. It may store information outside Australia.

If you ask us to claim a rebate or bill a claim, we share what's needed with your health fund, Medicare, the TAC, your WorkSafe agent or DVA. If you're on a GP plan, we send your GP a short report.

How long we keep it

Booking details stay with your patient record. Victorian law requires health records to be kept for at least 7 years after the last visit, or until age 25 for patients first seen as children.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your details

Email bookings@plinthphysio.example or call (03) 5550 0163. We'll tell you what we hold and correct it. You can also ask for a copy of your health record.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner at hcc.vic.gov.au.
