By body region
Neck
We check how your neck and upper back move, how you sit and work, and whether nerves are involved. Treatment is usually hands-on work plus a few exercises you can do at your desk.
Shoulder
We test strength and movement in different positions to work out which part is sore. Most shoulder problems need a few weeks of graded exercise, so we set a plan you can follow at home.
Lower back
Most back pain isn't serious, even when it hurts a lot. We check for the signs that need a GP or a scan, then help you move more comfortably and plan a gradual return to normal.
Hip
We look at how your hip, back and knee work together when you walk, squat and climb stairs, then build a program around what you need to get back to.
Knee
We test the ligaments, the kneecap and how you load the knee. If we think you need a scan or a surgeon's opinion, we'll say so and write to your GP.
Ankle and foot
We check how stable the ankle is and how you push off and land. Rehab usually moves from balance work to strength to the running, jumping or walking you need.
Other reasons people come in
- After surgery
- Rehab after a knee or hip replacement, a reconstruction or a shoulder repair. Bring the discharge letter or your surgeon's instructions. We follow the surgeon's protocol and keep your GP and surgeon updated.
- Sports injuries
- Strains and sprains, getting back to training, a return-to-sport plan. We ask what you train for and when your next game or event is, then plan the steps back to it, including what to do between visits.
- Road and work injuries
- TAC and WorkSafe claims, with the paperwork handled. Tell us your claim number when you book. We deal with the TAC or your WorkSafe agent directly, and we'll tell you about any gap before treatment.

How treatment usually goes
- Assessment. We ask what happened and what you need to get back to, then check how you move.
- Explanation. We tell you what we think is going on in plain words, and whether you need a GP, a scan or a specialist.
- Treatment. Hands-on work where it helps, and exercises chosen for your problem.
- A plan. How often to come back, what to do between visits, and what to watch for.
Every problem is different, so we don't promise a number of sessions. We'll tell you at the first visit what we expect.
